The Vancouver City Flag was adopted by the Vancouver City Council on May 17, 1983. The city flag was designed by Robert Watt. The right side of the flag consists of five wavy blue horizontal bars on a white background. On the left side, inside the golden shield on a green pentagon, there is the badge of the city, which consists of an ax, shovel and wall crown positioned diagonally. The proportions of the flag are 1×2.
